Our last league game this season saw us up against Thrapston. This game was an ideal run out prior to our Cup Final next week. With the grass now cut, the pitch was superb!!!

Generals started the match with a slightly different team than against Rushden from the previous game, mainly due to player availabilities and credit to them as they immediately took the game to Thrapston. The football we have been trying to play all season came together and Generals totally dominated the first half. With James, Jim, Ryan, Josh and Jake all combining well and opportunities were being created, but as our season has seen, these chances were not being taken!

The second half was all about Thrapston, with the increasing breeze behind them, they controlled the game not letting Generals settle and play. Two errors proved costly with both being punished to give Thrapston the final advantage, 0-2.

A game of two halves showing the good and the not so good side of Generals. Jim was excellent in the first half, but Player of the Match this week went to Phil for his solid performance in defence, well done.
